Pre -Design
At the core of the studio’s philosophy is good design. Design that works for our clients on multiple levels- comfort, sociability, sustainability and practicality. This is formulated with the clients in the design brief together with discussions for services to be carried out by specialist consultants and statutory requirements.
Schematic Design
A good design is focused around movability, comfort and practicality. Habitat design studio believes its interventions to enrich daily life whilst protecting the environment. At the Schematic stage the planning of internal spaces together with external design and finishes are presented to the client in a 3D format allowing the client to easily visualise the concept and make desired changes. The schematic stage continues until such time that the client is satisfied and all statutory requirements have been met.
Design Development
At the Design Development stage, the concept design drawings are converted to working drawings required by the council for lodgement. Council requirements differ from project to project. Habitat design studio employs highly regarded consultants to ensure that all council requirements are satisfied before lodging the development application.
